On 26 March 2021, at the National Blood Centre, Ms. Sunantha Sornanusin, Director of the Red Cross Youth Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS), led 295 youth volunteers from colleges to donate blood amidst blood shortage in the COVID-19 situation, and in celebration of the centenary of the Red Cross Youth Bureau, TRCS.
Youth volunteer activity would be held once a month starting from January 2021 to January 2022. There were 368 youth volunteers joining in previous activities. The next activity would be carried out on 26 April 2021 on Thai Red Cross Day with the aim for youth volunteers to participate in assisting vulnerable patients at the time of blood shortage.
