Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Executive Vice President of the Thai Red Cross Society, proceeded to the meeting room at Klai Kang Won Palace, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, to chair the 341st Virtual Thai Red Cross Council Meeting, while other Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS) Council members also participated in the meeting at Terd Prakiat Building, TRCS, on 4 June 2021. During the meeting, several issues were considered, for instance, the performance of the TRCS committee on medical services as well as the TRCS committee on blood, organ and biological products service, a report on the operation of humanitarian assistance during the new wave of COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19 vaccine resources and allocation plan.
The Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS) is a philanthropic public organization at the national level, whose activities are committed to the humanitarian assistance in accordance with the principles of the International Red Cross. The activities of the Thai Red Cross Society focus on four areas including; 1) Medical, public health and hygiene services, 2) Relief for disaster victims, 3) Blood services and 4) Promotion of the quality of life. TRCS is ready to support the government’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout for the general public.
