On 9 August 2024, Ms. Sara John Fowler, former President, honorary member of Canadian Red Cross and governing board member of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) for Americas region and Ms. Kerry Nickels, President of New Zealand Red Cross and governing board member of IFRC for Asia Pacific region, along with Ms. Carla Taylor, Head of Region Asia-Pacific, Canadian Red Cross, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Tej Bunnag, Secretary General of Thai Red Cross Society, together with Dr. Apichart Chinwanno, Assistant Secretary General for International Affairs. Both sides discussed and exchanged views on humanitarian activities of Thai Red Cross Society, Canadian Red Cross, New Zealand Red Cross and IFRC.
