Khunying Jada Wattanasiritham, Treasurer of the Thai Red Cross Society, presided over the ceremony to transfer medical supplies and other materials to Maharaj Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province to pass onto hospitals affected by southern floods. Also present were representatives from the board of management and medical staff of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital (KCMH), the Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS), and also representatives from the TRCS management, the Foundation for Good Governance on Medicine, students in the Good Governance on Medicine field and students from King Prajadhipok’s Institute.
KCMH has provided over 1,000 medical supplies including hospital beds, examination tables, pelvic examination tables, patient trolleys and other 216 pieces of equipment. The hospital also gave 12,000 face masks and 144 bottles of 500 ml alcohol gel to the Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and the President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Red Cross Chapter during the critical time of COVID-19 pandemic.
