Following the gracious initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Executive Vice-President of the Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS), to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Princess graciously granted permission to the Thai Red Cross Society to set up the Mobile Kitchen of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to provide cooked food to people on 11-20 May 2021 at Rom Buri Park, Muang Buri Ram Municipality in Muang Buri Ram District, Buri Ram Province.
On 12 May 2021, Lt. Gen (Retd.) Amnat Barlee, M.D., Director of the Relief and Community Health Bureau, TRCS, presided over the mobile kitchen opening ceremony in providing 3,500 sets of cooked food to representatives of communities. Of all, 1,500 sets of cooked food were provided to Muang Buri Ram District and 2,000 sets to Khu Muang District. Moreover, the TRCS visited and provided cooked food, bottled water and relief kits to bedridden patients, vulnerable and disabled people in Nai Muang Sub-district, Muang Buri Ram District.
