On 1 October 2020, the Thai Red Cross Fund Raising Bureau hosted a merit making ceremony on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the Thai Red Cross Fund Raising Bureau. On this occasion,
Mr. Phan Wannamethee, Secretary General of the Thai Red Cross Society, presided over the ceremony at the Thanpuying Nualpong Senanarong Meeting Room on  the second floor of the Bureau’s building.  

The Fund Raising Bureau of the Thai Red Cross Society was officially established on 1 December 1972.   The Bureau is responsible for raising sufficient funds to be used as financial support for the activities of the Thai Red Cross Society. Most funding comes from public support and the proceeds from various fundraising events as well as activities organized by the bureau, with cooperation from private and governmental organizations.
