Health Benefits of Donating Blood


Donating blood regularly every three months has many health benefits, for instance;
o Blood donation activates the bone marrow cells in the donor and helps create
new red blood cells.
o Donating blood may help improve the circulatory system.
o Being physically and mentally healthy.
o A bag of donated blood can be separated into three major components; platelets, red blood cells and plasma which can be used in saving up to three lives.
