To ensure the management of assistance for disaster victims with effectiveness and ultimate public benefits, the Thai Red Cross Chapters Administration Office, the Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS), has called on Provincial Red Cross Chapters to manage their budgets and projects as follows: 

Firstly, in the case of urgency, Provincial Red Cross Chapters may use allocated annual budgets to buy necessity kits for distribution to disaster victims, and to establish mobile kitchens to prepare cooked food or buy cooked food for disaster victims if victims are unable to cook food.  

Secondly, Provincial Red Cross Chapters in need can request sets of relief kits from the Thai Red Cross Relief and Community Health Bureau via Red Cross Health Stations in their areas and via PhonPhai Application.  

Lastly, Provincial Red Cross Chapters should assist people in areas unreachable yet by other organizations in order to prevent the overlapping use of budgets and the duplication of assistance. In case of budget inadequacy, Provincial Red Cross Chapters may contact the TRCS Headquarter on a case by case basis.
