On 16 May 2021, the Relief and Community Health Bureau, the Thai Red Cross Society, in collaboration with health volunteers in Prawet District provided 10 sets of relief kits and drinking water to 10 Cambodian workers who are isolating themselves in their accommodation in Prawet District, Bangkok. Cloth face masks, alcohol-based hand sanitizers, COVID-19 information leaflets written in Khmer along with leaflets on stopping social stigmatizing written in Thai, Khmer and Burmese were also distributed.
Moreover, the Bureau collaborated with health volunteers in Thawi Watthana District to give 40 sets of relief kits and drinking water to 40 people under quarantine in five communities of the district. Cloth face masks, alcohol-based hand sanitizers, and COVID-19 information leaflets were also provided. The relief kits and other items were handed over at the Social Development and Human Security Volunteer Coordinating Center in Thawi Watthana District, Bangkok.
