Relief Assistance to Affected People in Nakhon Sawan and Lop Buri
On 5 October 2021, Lt. Gen (Retd.) Amnat Barlee, M.D., Director of the Relief and Community Health Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS), along with the board and staff met with Mr. Chayan Sirimas, Provincial Governor of Nakhon Sawan Province, and Ms. Sirirat Sirimas, M.D., President of Nakhon Sawan Provincial Red Cross, to listen to the update of flooding situation in Nakhon Sawan Province at the Provincial office. After that, the team visited and provided sets of relief kits to people who were affected by flooding in Nong Krot Sub-district Muang Nakhon Sawan District and Nong Yao Sub-district, Lat Yao District, Nakhon Sawan Province.
On 6 October 2021, Director of the Relief and Community Health Bureau, TRCS, along with the team received the information about the flooding and assistance in Chai Badan District, Lop Buri Province, where Mr. Suthat Nanto, Acting Chai Badan District Chief, and Ms. Watcharaporn Rungsakorn, President of Lop Buri Red Cross Chapter, were the representatives to welcome. The Director and his team visited the area where TRCS drinking water trucks provided clean water for consumption, and the team provided sets of relief kits to 20 people affected by flooding in Tha Manow Sub-district, Chai Badan District, Lop Buri Province.
