On 1 November 2022, Her Excellency Mrs. C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Thailand, received the second donation of medicines and medical supplies valued one million Baht from Dr. Apichart Chinwanno, Assistant Secretary General for External Relations, Thai Red Cross Society at the handover ceremony held at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. These medical items are given as relief assistance to Sri Lanka at this time of economic crisis.
These medicines and medical supplies were funded by The World Fellowship of Buddhists organization (WFB) and procured by Thai Red Cross Society. This second shipment will be delivered to Sri Lanka by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand in collaboration with World Health Organization.
