On 18 June 2024, Mr. Nopporn Janyasawangporn, Welfare and Self-Reliance Manager, Ms. Julie and Mr. Chad Atkinson, Humanitarian Specialists, and representatives from the Foundation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints handed over two automatic lens edgers, valuing at 1.5 million Baht, to support Thai Red Cross’s Mobile Eyeglasses Clinic for Schoolchildren in Remote Areas.
On this occasion, Ms. Jirawan Santipitak, R.Ph., Assistant Director of Relief and Community Health Bureau, represented the project in receiving the donation. The staff also presented the Mobile Eyeglasses Clinic and demonstrated lens edging for making optical eyeglasses to the donors.
