His Serene Somdet Phra Wanarat, the abbot of Wat Bowonniwet Vihara and Director-General of Mahamakut Royal Academy Foundation, presided over the handover ceremony of financial assistance to six organizations responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. On this occasion, Mr. Tej Bunnag, Secretary General of the Thai Red Cross Society (TRCS) received financial support in the amount of THB 2,000,000 on 30 July 2021 at Wat Bowonniwet Vihara, Bangkok. This financial support will be used for the procurement of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and distribution of the first dose of vaccine to priority groups including medical staff, vulnerable and disabled persons, bedridden patients, pregnant women and elderly persons (aged 70 years or above).
Interested persons can make financial donation to be a part in purchasing COVID-19 vaccine by making a deposit to the Kasikorn Bank account, No. 623-1-00097-4.
