On 11 July 2023, 5 Bhutan Red Cross delegates made a study visit on humanitarian operations to Thai Red Cross Society. The delegates started the morning session at Relief and Community Health Bureau, and was briefed on disaster relief’s operations, PhonPhai application, Disaster Operations Center, Communication Center, Relief Warehouse, Water Purification Unit, Mobile Dental Unit, and Mobile Communications Vehicle. Then, the delegates visited National Blood Centre’s operations including donor registration and screening processes, Blood Collection Department, and Hemapheresis Department. Lastly, the team visited First Aid and Health Care Training Center and exchanged views on First Aid and Health Care Trainings and Road Safety Project.
