
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, who departed peacefully on 24 October 2025 at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, in Bangkok. Her Majesty was deeply revered for her lifelong devotion to the people and her unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes.
Her Majesty served as President of Thai Red Cross Society from 12 August 1956 until her passing, a tenure spanning nearly seven decades. Under her visionary leadership, the Society expanded its humanitarian outreach, bringing vital assistance and hope to countless lives across the Kingdom and beyond. Her efforts especially benefited those affected by disasters and crises, vulnerable populations, and displaced communities, in accordance with the fundamental principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. On behalf of all staff and volunteers of the Thai Red Cross Society, we mourn Her Majesty’s passing with deepest respect. Her legacy of compassion and dedication will continue to inspire our humanitarian mission.
