On 29 -30 November 2023, Lt.Gen. Amnat Barlee, M.D., Director of Relief and Community Health Bureau participated in the Conference on the Role of Disaster Law in Mitigating Disasters & Strengthening Climate Resilience hosted by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) together with the NAPSIPAG Disaster Research Group (NDGR), the Institute of Law, Emergencies and Disaster (LEAD) and the Sphere India, in Bangkok. This conference aimed to discuss current issues relating to disasters and international disaster law in the Asia-Pacific region.
