On 23 November 2025, at the invitation of Vietnam Red Cross Society, Mr. Tej Bunnag, Secretary General of Thai Red Cross Society, led a delegation to attend The 6th National Patriotic Emulation Congress and Power of Humanity 2025 in Hanoi to commemorate the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Red Cross Society. The event honored staff and volunteers of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, as well as the government agencies, private sector organizations, and international partners for their dedication and support of humanitarian efforts. During the ceremony, the Secretary General of Thai Red Cross Society received an Honorary Certificate in recognition of the organization’s contribution as a partner supporting the humanitarian mission of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
Earlier, on 22 November, the delegation participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and paid a courtesy visit on Dr. Do Thi Thu Thao, the newly appointed President of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, to discuss ways to strengthen humanitarian cooperation between the two organizations.
