Thai Red Cross Society approved an emergency fund of 50,000 USD to provide humanitarian assistance to earthquake victims in Myanmar. This fund is divided into two parts: 30,000 USD for delivering relief supplies and 20,000 USD as financial assistance.
On 5 April 2025, Thai Red Cross Society sent 1 ton of relief supplies, containing food and basic items to the Myanmar Red Cross Society in Naypyidaw, along with a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Royal Thai Air Force.
In addition, on 4 April 2025, Thai Red Cross Society, in collaboration with Nestlé Thailand, delivered 1,000 packages of dried food to the Myanmar Red Cross Society in Mandalay to provide initial assistance to those affected by the earthquake in Mandalay.
