Associate Professor Dr. Jirut Sriratanaban, M.D., Assistant Secretary General of the Thai Red Cross Society and Director of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, participated in the Movement Induction Course (MIC) for new executives in 2026. The training was held from 22–26 June 2026 at the Red Cross House in Singapore.
The course, which was organized by International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Singapore Red Cross, aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, as well as key topics including humanitarian diplomacy, risk management, good governance, and leadership in humanitarian organizations.
In addition, the program included a study visit to the Singapore Red Cross’s Home Monitoring and Eldercare (HoME+) initiative, a home-based elderly care system that utilizes technology and community engagement to improve the quality of life and safety of senior citizens.
