Mr. Sudirman Said, Secretary General of the Indonesia Red Cross (PMI), and Ms. Madalena Fernandes Melo Hanjan Costa Soares, President of the Timor-Leste Red Cross, sent letters to express their appreciation for the Thai Red Cross Society’s humanitarian support provided for flood response operations. Following the devastating flooding and landslides after Cyclone Seroja, the Thai Red Cross Society sent condolence letters to both National Societies
on 9 April 2021, and provided financial support to the Timor-Leste Red Cross for flood victims relief.
