On 10 October 2022, H.E. Mr. Evegeny Tomikhin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Thailand, and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission (ESCAP) in Bangkok, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Tej Bunnag, Secretary General of Thai Red Cross Society, together with Dr. Apichart Chinwanno, Assistant Secretary General for External Relations. Both sides exchanged views on cooperation in Thailand, including Cyclotron Technology using in pharmaceutical industry and cancer treatment. The Secretary General of the Thai Red Cross Society also expressed appreciation to the Russian Federation for sharing X-ray technology used in healthcare to King Chulalonkorn Memorial Hospital in the past.
