On 7–8 November 2023, Thai Red Cross-National Blood Center delegation led by Dr. Pinit Kullavanijaya, Assistant Secretary General, made a visit to Korean Red Cross Society and GC Biopharma, the Republic of Korea, on the occasion of 65th Anniversary of Republic of Korea – Kingdom of Thailand Diplomatic Relations and 12-year relationship between Thai Red Cross Society – GC Biopharma. This visit aimed to enhance the cooperation on transferring plasma-derived medicine production technology.
Thai Red Cross delegation took a study tour on plasma-derived medicines manufacturing facilities at GC Biopharma Factory, and also visited Dr. Soyong Kwon, Director General of Blood Safety Bureau, Korean Red Cross Society to discuss on future cooperation. The delegation also paid a courtesy call on Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul.
